Public inquiry option for Queen’s Parade

A time-consuming public inquiry may still need to be held into Bangor's longest ever running redevelopment saga - Queen's Parade. The spectre of such an inquiry was raised this week for the first time by the top civil servant who is now charged with realising the long local held dreams for the flagship site.

This is the £8 million facelift the council plans to give Bangor town centre. By 2016 they want to have a complete makeover of the area’s key roads from Abbey Street through to the top of High Street.
