This bridge doesn’t exist, says government

This historic bridge isn't protected by the authorities - because the government thinks it was demolished years ago. Located just off the Green Road area of Conlig, the bridge is such a local landmark that it inspired the name of the nearby Stonebridge Village housing development.

AN elderly Bangor couple are living in fear they will be evicted from their care village. 71 year old Anne Mayne, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, and her 74 year old husband Denis have called Strickland's Care Village their home for the past 10 years.
